Description

The CPB5000 utilizes a universal Instrument Base providing a simple and economical solution. The pneumatic Instrument base covers pressures to 1500 psi, the Hydraulic base covers pressures up to 14500 psi 

The ConTect™System allows quick and easy changing of the Piston/Cylinder System without the need for tools. Simply twist the butterfly screw and the installed ConTect System can be removed and a new range installed.

To allow easy installation and removal of the device under test (DUT) without tools, the CPB5000 utilizes a quick connector that seals with hand-tightening. A variety of adapters are provided to handle most any thread type found on the DUT.

The Instrument Instrument Base is equipped with:

• Fine thread hand pump (screw press) to generate and make fine adjustments to system pressure.
• Priming pump to eliminate air / fill the DUT in the hydraulic model or generate pressures up to 145 psi in the pneumatic version.
• Reference line and mirror for comfortable visual float position detection
  Level indicator that can be removed and placed on top of the piston for additional alignment accuracy.
• Rotating feet with nylon pads providing effortless level adjustment.
• Exhaust (outlet) valve to vent pressure. The hydraulic vents to the reservoir, the pneumatic to atmosphere.
• Analog gauge providing system pressure indication.
• The pneumatic base contains an external pressure supply port and an inlet valve allowing high pressure gas from an external source to pressurize the deadweight tester and DUT.
