The Series CPG2500 Precision Pressure Indicator features pressure ranges from 10 inH2O FS to 10,000 psi FS with an uncertainty of 0.01% of full scale for ranges greater than or equal to 5 psi (optional uncertainty 0.01% Intelliscale-50). The CPG2500 can be configured with a single pressure sensor or in a dual channel configuration with two pressure sensors, each with individual test ports for measuring two pressures simultaneously. Additionally, an optional barometric reference sensor is available allowing fast and easy switching between gauge and absolute mode pressure measurements. The sensing element is compatible with a wide range of pressure media and can be used for either pneumatic or hydraulic pressure measurements.
The operator interface utilizes the same type of color touch screen display found in Mensor’s popular CPC6000 Automated Pressure Calibrator. Pressure readings are displayed with large characters for easy reading from across the room. The intuitive menu functions make the CPG2500 easy to use. For example, the pressure units are displayed above the pressure reading window. Press the pressure units and a pop-up menu appears with a complete list of various pressure engineering units that can be selected. For our international customers, the CPG2500 currently supports over 12 different languages with the ability to add more in the future.
In a dual channel configuration, the CPG2500 provides the ability to display each pressure reading simultaneously on a split screen display in addition to channel A minus B, or channel B minus A for differential type measurements.
For remote operation by a PC or data acquisition system, the CPGl 2500 includes an RS-232 and Ethernet interface. An optional IEEE-488 interface is available and for customers that require an analog output, the Model 2500 can be provided with an optional 0 to 10 VDC output. The display includes a remote status indicator providing a visual indication for successful remote communications or when an error has been detected in the syntax or command. Firmware updates can be performed over the included RS-232 or Ethernet interfaces.
The CPG2500 replaces the previous generation Model 2100 DPG, which Mensor will continue to support, and offers increased flexibility, capability and ease of use. The CPG2500 also offers a significant economical advantage in dual channel applications.
