The CPU5000 Calibrator Unit is a tool used to simplify and automate the calculations necessary to achieve the most accurate pressure values from a deadweight tester. The CPU5000 calculates the weights that are required for a specific pressure by automatically incorporating all critical ambient parameters into the deadweight tester equation. Ambient conditions, including pressure, humidity, and temperature are sensed and local Gravity is entered to achieve uncertainties as low as 0.008%.
Basis package CPU5000
The basic Calibrator Unit package converts masses into the corresponding pressure value, or vice versa. It calculates the masses required for a specific pressure value by considering the local gravity. The conversion can be carried out in all common pressure units. The input of all parameters takes place manually.
Sensor package
The sensor package extension includes sensors to automatically register all critical parameters like room temperature, ambient pressure, relative humidity and piston temperature while continually updating output pressure based on these parameters.
Multimeter package
In the multimeter package, a function for calibrating pressure transmitters is included. A 24 VDC power supply provides power to the transmitter under test and the sensor signal (V, mA) is measured. In addition, the signal from the transmitter is automatically converted to a pressure value that is shown on the display.
Piston position display
The piston position sensor, located under the weights, transmits the precise piston position and is displayed on the CPU5000 as a bar graph.
