Mensor Corporation announced today the incorporation of “0.01%intelliscale-50” transducers in the CPC 6000 Automated Pressure Calibrator.
What is 0.01%Intelliscale-50? It is an abbreviated way to express a percent of reading uncertainty for CPC 6000 transducers. “0.01%” indicates that the transducer has an uncertainty of 0.01% of reading; “-50” indicates that the percent of reading uncertainty applies to the portion of the range above 50%. “0.01%Intelliscale-50” also has a 365 day recommended calibration interval. These qualities increase the accuracy, extends the calibration interval and lowers the total number of ranges required, thus reducing the cost of ownership by extending the “up-time” and decreasing the yearly re-certification cost.

Mensor Corporation announced today the introduction of the CPT 6180 High Precision Pressure Transducer. The CPT 6180 is characterized using a new proprietary method that delivers an uncertainty of 0.01%intelliscale-50 (0.01%IS-50) with a calibration stability of 365 days.
What is 0.01%Intelliscale-50 ?
Intelliscale is a way to describe a percent of reading uncertainty statement in an easily understood, abbreviated format. The “0.01%” denotes that the uncertainty is 0.01% of reading, the “-50” denotes that the percent of reading applies to the portion of the range above 50% of full scale. Below 50% of full scale the uncertainty is 0.005% of full scale (50% x 0.01%). A graphical illustration is shown below.
The CPT 6180 is not only accurate, it is fast. With an optional high speed (250Hz) continuous output mode, pressure can be read via the RS-232 or RS-485. The output is also available in a query/response mode

Mensor Corporation announced today the introduction of the CPC3000 High Speed Pressure Controller/Calibrator. The CPC3000 compliments the popular CPC6000 and CPC8000 Automated Pressure Calibrators, providing a low cost alternative to these higher accuracy devices.
The CPC3000 utilizes a proprietary, high performance regulator to achieve stable control in less than 3 seconds. High speed control, an accuracy of 0.025% of full scale and pressure ranges up to 1000 psi make this an ideal solution for production environments where speed is essential. With the added bonus of a color touch screen, intuitive menu structure and quiet operation this unique calibrator is also well equipped for calibration labs where an increase in productivity is required.
Remote operation can be accomplished via IEEE-488, USB or Ethernet communication interfaces.
Mensor Rep Training / WIKA Calibration Day
Mensor Corporation, a part of WIKA Calibration Line, hosted a product training session at their facility in San Marcos Texas on September 25 & 26. Mensor has conducted training sessions for local representatives and international distributors in the past, but with the addition of WIKA’s subsidiaries the training has evolved into a truly international event. Representatives from WIKA Subsidiaries in Australia, Canada, Korea and the US were present plus Mensor regional US representatives and international distributors.
New instruments and enhancements to existing instruments were presented and each afternoon participants engaged in “hands–on” training sessions to get a better understanding of how to demonstrate each instrument to potential customers. In the evenings, participants enjoyed Texas style dining, including Tex–Mex fajita tacos and smoked barbecue brisket along the shores of the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels, Texas.
The new CPC3000 High Speed Controller was the star of the show. The CPC3000 is a pressure controller that is designed for customers that need very quick control to increase throughput in a production or test environment. Simply put, the CPC3000 will decrease the time required to test or calibrate pressure related products.
In addition, a review of the CPB5000 and CPB3000 was presented along with the WIKA Hand Held Pressure Calibrators and Easy Cal Software. These are relatively new to the US market and most of the US representatives have had little exposure to these products. During the afternoon hands on session, the Mensor Custom Systems Group showed a variety of systems that have been produced. Custom Systems typically combines pressure calibration components into a complete turnkey product that conforms to specific customer requirements.

Mensor is pleased to announce the introduction of the new Series 2500 Digital Pressure Gauge. The Series 2500 DPG features a color touch screen display, similar to the one used in the Series 600 Automated Pressure Calibrator, and can be configured as a single or dual channel instrument.
Any full scale pressure range from 0 to 10 inH2O to as high as 0 to 10,000 psi can be provided.
