• 1960: Expansion domestically and, for the first time, also overseas

In the best hands for generations

• 1946: Alexander Wiegand founds the company WIKA together with Philipp Kachel
• 1951: Dr. Konrad Wiegand takes his father's place
• 1967: Ursula Wiegand takes over the company
• 1984: Ursula Wiegand is the first woman in Germany to receive the "Business woman of the year" award.
• 1996: Alexander Wiegand leads the family business into the 21st century
