Responsible for processing requests for document submittals, the facilitation and maintenance of items concerning compliance with both internal and customer documentation requirements along with the final data book submittal.

Document Control Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Submits documents, drawings and all related information to customer as required by Purchase Order or contract. 
  • Prepares formal transmittals to customer with any documents that are required per purchase order. This includes but is not limited to: final data book/packages, drawings for approval, drawings for record, procedures, testing certificates, IOMS and EPC Vendor Data Requirement.
  • Updates log (SDR) of all communication to and from the customer for documentation.
  • Keeps documentation network file current including overview/SDR logs for approved, returned and submitted documents.
  • Reviews hard copy of project files after it is handed off to prepare for scanning/filing. 
  • Assists with the storing of data and records for document retrieval and archives whether it is in house or in storage.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma preferred
  • 1 year working in an office environment required
  • 1 year experience in EPC documentation preferred
  • Strong verbal, written, organizational, time management, analytical and interpersonal skills necessary.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word and in writing.
  • Possesses the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task.
