Hand-helds and calibrators for accurate measurement and recording of pressure profiles

Hand-helds pressure indicators are portable calibration instruments for mobile use for the accurate measurement and recording of pressure profiles. There are interchangeable pressure sensors with measuring ranges of up to 8,000 bar available for the instruments. Through this, hand-held indicators are particularly suitable as test instruments for a large variety of applications in the widest range of industries. Data recorded in the hand-held pressure calibrator can be evaluated via PC software. Some instruments document calibrations in the internal memory, which can later be read on a PC. Optionally, a calibration certificate can be generated with our calibration software WIKA-CAL.

Why should you use a handheld pressure calibrator?

Testing and calibrating transmitters on-site yourself with a handheld pressure calibrator, such as the CPH6200, can cut costs accrued from your transmitter being out of commission. This is especially beneficial for drilling rigs and refineries that are not in centralized, consolidated plants but often in remote, hard to reach areas.

Typically, a multifunction calibrator is used for calibrating pressure transmitters, pressure measuring instruments, temperature transmitters, temperature probes and other measuring instruments.

There are 3 things you will need if you’re going to test pressure transducers with a handheld pressure calibrator or handheld indicator. You will need to make sure your reference device can measure pressure and electric signals, have a pressure generator, and a power supply or battery for the device under test.
