Hand-helds

Hand-helds for applications in the widest range of industries

A handheld thermometer is a portable calibration instrument for mobile use for the accurate measurement and recording of temperature profiles. For the instruments there are various designs of thermometers available. Through this, hand-helds are particularly suitable as test instruments for a large variety of applications in the widest range of industries. Data recorded in the hand-held can be evaluated via PC software, some instruments document calibrations in the internal memory, which can later be read on a PC. Optionally, a calibration certificate can be generated with our calibration software WIKA-Cal.

What industires use handheld temperature calibrators?

Mensor handheld temperature calibrators are used in various industries for temperature measuring applications. In Aerospace, precise temperature measurement in engine temperature sensing by verifying the accuracy temeprature sensors.

How are handheld infrared thermometers used?

Infrared handheld thermometers are utilized as temperature measuring instruments in a remote manner which is beneficial for devices that may be too hot in temperature or difficult to reach.

What is cold junction compensation in temperature measurement?

Cold junction compensation is used in thermocouple temperature measurement to account for the temeprature where thermocouple wires connect at the measurement device. This "junction" can produce erroirs if temperature is not accounted for correctly.
